Turns out that not only it is tasty and delicious to eat bananas, but also peel of them is having several benefits you would be surprised about. It is kind of a 2 in 1 process and win-win situation at the same time.
So let’s jump in!
First of all, banana peel works great on your skin. It helps to:

Recover dry areas on your skin by rubbing inside of the banana on them. Approximately 1-2 times a day and skin will recover back to the normal.
Acne – same process, rub the inside of banana peel on the affected areas. Enzymes, antioxidants and vitamins will help with the healing process.
Prevent wrinkles – So 2 in 1 again, not only great as a face mask, but you will also prevent wrinkles on your skin. Antioxidants and vitamin C helps to boost and produce collagen and circulation in your skin.

Besides using banana peel on your skin, there are some other ways as well:
Teeth whitener – after brushing teeth, rub banana peel’s inside on your teeth for approximately one minute. Result will be visible in a week or two and it won’t damage your teeth.
Fertiliser – add to the water when watering plants or to the soil when planting them. As well it helps to control aphids if you cut banana peel in smaller pieces and place them under the plants.
Compost – banana peel breaks down fast and has a lot of nutrients which are great for the soil. Plus you have less garbage.
Polish shoes, plant leaves and silverware. For the silverware apply water to the banana peel and polish gently. Afterwards use cloth to remove dirts.
Pretty amazing, huh? My biggest advantage is that in Kenya bananas are literally available on every corner!
