Nutella – Vutella

The best things in life are cruelty free, but nutella was pretty good too. However, you can, of course, make a vegan version of it as well! But let’s call it a ‘vutella’ instead!

It is actually very easy and mind-blowing at the same time. Be careful not to get addicted! Chocolate is a very tricky thing!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 5 tablespoons maple syrup (or other)
  • 5 tea spoons cocoa powder
  • 75ml soy milk (or water)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

And yes, I forgot to mention – it is free of refined sugar and gluten!

Process:

Start by roasting hazelnuts on the pan for approximately 3-5 minutes. Let them cool down and remove loose skins. Then process them in the food processor for approximately 5-10 minutes until they become in a form of hazelnut butter. Add salt and soy milk and process again. Then maple syrup and process once again. As last, add cocoa powder, and before processing, mix it in with a spoon. Voilà! Vutella is ready. And it didn’t take more than 30 minutes in total!
