Who would have thought it is actually so easy to make peanut butter at home? Here I want to share my way of making crunchy peanut butter. It is one of the simplest things ever, but still mind-blowing.
- 2 cups peanuts (approx. 400g)
- 1/2-1 teaspoon salt
(yes, that is it. You won’t need anything else!)
First roast peanuts and take off loose skins. For the crunchy part separate 2/3 a cup of peanuts and process in the food processor for couple of seconds until they break down in smaller bits. Place in separate bowl and start processing the rest of the peanuts together with salt for approximately 10-15 minutes until they become as a butter. Then mix both – peanut butter and crunch part together.
