Meringues from aquafaba/beanwater

Lately chickpeas are definitely in my top 3! You can not only use them for cakes, main dishes and salad, but also use its liquid – aquafaba. Awesome right? Directly translating it means beanwater.

So yeah, from this beanwater it is possible to make vegan meringue cookies, which normally are made from egg-white. Also it can be used as whipping cream, to make mousse and as a simple egg replacement. Anyway… Let’s get back to the point – meringues! Continue reading

Chocolate sauce

There might not be available that many vegan chocolate sauce options in the shops, and even if you are not a vegan, it is cheaper, easier and faster to make it at home, than going to the shop haha. Preparation time – 2 minutes!

Strawberry-Banana Nice Cream

What can be better than ice-cream? NICE CREAM! It is an ideal substitute of it, tastes great and nutritionally wise is actually much better than the regular ice-cream. Just imagine how great it is to not to get fat by snacking during the movie haha!

You will need:

  • 2 cups of frozen bananas
  • and 1 cup of strawberries (yes, that is it)

Process everything in food processor for about 1-2 minutes until it has smooth consistency and top it as you wish. I have chosen sliced bananas, strawberries and chia seeds.  Continue reading

Nope. You are wrong. You can make chocolate at home in less than 30 minutes from only 3 ingredients, plus it is gluten and sugar free. Watch this video to see how to do it!

  • 1 cup (100ml) Cocoa powder
  • 1 cup (100ml) Coconut oil (melted)
  • 30 ml Agave or maple syrup
